Before starting Built with Wisdom, Nicola had worked alongside the smaller firms in the construction industry for the past decade, with private clients, architects, builders and skilled tradesmen.
Driven by an ambition to make a difference and a belief in the construction industry's desire and ability to evolve, Nicola embarked on studies with the Chartered Institute of Building in Sustainable Construction and Development, and then Mental Health in Construction, Construction Ethics and Compliance, and finally Quality in Construction.

A professionally qualified project manager, Nicola has twenty-years’ experience in creating and supporting transformation, with skills in change management, governance, dispute resolution and negotiation. Nicola is also a professionally qualified consultant with the Chartered Management Institute.

Nicola provides sustainability expertise to Oxfordshire Community Land Trust as a volunteer.
